Intern Interview – Meghan

This summer, we were joined by several interns here at RiskSpan gaining first hand experience on some of our latest projects. Today, we interviewed Meghan who has been a hard-working addition to our data team over the last few months.

1. Where did you go to school and what did you study?
I graduated in May from Sewanee: The University of the South with a double major in history and economics and a minor in math.

2. What made you interested in data analytics?
I worked with a lot of data my senior year while working on my senior thesis for my economics major, and I really enjoyed it. When it came time to look for summer internships, I knew I wanted to continue working with data to sharpen my skills.

3. What is your favorite project you have worked on here at RiskSpan?
My favorite project was the Competitive Intelligence project. I researched our competitors and put together information on their products. I really enjoyed learning about a variety of Model Risk Management products.

4. Did you enjoy your experience here?
I had a great experience during my internship! RiskSpan is a fun place to work and I learned a lot.

5. What are you doing after RiskSpan?
I will be attending the University of Cambridge in Great Britain to get my MPhil in Economic and Social History next year.

Thank you Meghan for all of your work this summer, and good luck on your future endeavors!
